gravity loves. each and every one
of us. no hesitation.
gravity makes earth breathing.
gravity guides waters into the sea.
gravity teaches ocean how to make legs.
gravity walks then floats then flies.
gravity joins earth and sea.
gravity navigates inside doors.
gravity sees almost forever.
gravity smiles when listening.
gravity lets you know how tall you are.
gravity sleeps with you when your eyes
are closed.
gravity knows the word, embrace.
gravity and I are close friends.
like a shadow is. you know.
sewn together at the heels.
a perfect thread.
: )
all the beatitudes of gravity laid out in ripples of raked sand – the shadow ending sews the whole together so perfectly

Thank you Laura. (semi) list poems are an old favorite style for me. Lots of ripples, yes.
And PS the sewn ending is also my nod to Peter Pan : ) Many many years back I cried for days when I realized Peter was not for real. Easter Bunny, Santa, all OK, but Peter, I was hoping for that one.

ah the ‘puer eternis’ -I think Dylan Thomas suffered the same when I read much of his best poetry – perhaps he drank to forget he was all grown up!

Oh, this is so beautiful and rhythmic. I also longed for Peter Pan to be real. Alice too.

Thank you Bridgette. My good marbles worth.
Oh troublesome. Just found your comment today, two days late to see. Oh, the internet, a messy place. But thanks!
